This tour has basically gone tits up since the first test. A few players living on past glories at the moment.

I don't mind Kohli, gets over excitable at times but rather that than some stone faced bore. Lovely debut for the Pandya lad. Obviously meant the world to him.

Karthik is doing OK on the commentary, nice looking lad too which always helps.

More importantly ESSEX are batting at NEW WRITTLE STREET. Warm up friendly against Bumble's lot.

Rejoice at that news.

Botham and Gower don't do Sweet Caroline

Re: England tour of India (Live on Channel 4)
Good point re Bumble. I like his contribution but why we he kept on when he is much older and much less of a legend in England terms than Botham and Gower. Mainly remembered for getting hit in the bollocks playing wise unless you are 60+ I reckon.

Plenty of overs left in the bag, Billings and Mo boy doing the right thing being a righty and a lefty keep the scored board ticking and they have to constantly changed their field placings in the process.

You know how there’s the ‘never write off the Germans’ in football

Well, it’s not as catchy, but in cricket it’s ‘never underestimate the ability of England to royally fuck something up’

Dinesh Karthik has been very good commentating as a current player.
Hopefully Sky sign him up for England v India Test series in the summer.
Can ditch David Lloyd who should have gone when Botham & Gower did

Amazing to watch Pairstow the Test player vs Bairstow the 50 over player. Chalk & (Red Leicester) Cheese

I like kohli, has an attitude that is bizarrely lacking in lots of sportsman and he's always generally decent in interviews as well, with not many excuses made.

Think kartik will be a decent acquisition to the commentary box as well if he's planning on doing it full time.

Don't you just love the look on the face of Kholi when things aren't going well

Re: England tour of India (Live on Channel 4)
Doesn't seem to have been much comment on the Kohli v Buttler confrontation and what came before it.
I suspect there was some sledging on both sides going on and Kohli has felt that he should carry it on when Buttler was dismissed.
Must come as an enormous shock to some that ALL teams chat on the field.

India trying a couple of debutants. England using Buttler & Stokes as there is no point in them going home as they would have to quarantine when they returned for the IPL.
After that its the English summer v NZ then India , then the t20 World Cup probably still in bubbles before they then go straight to Australia.
